Del City Eagles (Del City, OK) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host Nathan Hale Rangers (Tulsa, OK), 53-0 in a league match.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK). The Ropers come into the 5A District 4 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Will Rogers College routed Memorial (Tulsa, OK), 49-33, in a league test.
With the defeat, Nathan Hale drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Pryor (Pryor, OK) to meet the Tigers in a 5A District 4 challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Pryor won 51-20 in their recent league challenge against Claremore (Claremore, OK)
