In Friday's non-league match, the host Erath Bobcats football squad scored a decisive 48-0 triumph over the DeQuincy Tigers.

The Bobcats (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Berwick (Berwick, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Berwick was routed by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 67-26, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers (Jonesboro, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. DeQuincy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 43-0 league loss to Haynesville (Haynesville, LA).
