Arizona High School Football - Red Mountain wallops Desert Ridge

The Red Mountain Mountain Lions football team scored 69 points and held the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars to 16 in the Mountain Lions league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions face the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley test, on Friday, October 17. Red Mountain will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Toros come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 48-20 non-league win over Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).

With the defeat, Desert Ridge drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to clash with the Aztecs in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Aztecs come into the test with a record of 2-4. Corona del Sol lost 28-14 in their recent league test against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)
