The Deweyville Pirates walloped the host Hull-Daisetta Bobcats football team by a score of 40-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX) in a 2A-2 Region III District 12 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Deweyville will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 35-21 league win over West Hardin (Saratoga, TX).
With the defeat, Hull-Daisetta drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to West Sabine (Pineland, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 2A-2 Region III District 12 test on Friday, October 17.
