The Dickson Comets walloped the visiting Marietta Indians football team by a score of 45-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets play the Little Axe Indians (Norman, OK) in a 2A-I District 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Dickson will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Indians go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 55-0 league loss to Washington (Washington, OK).
The Indians (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindsay (Lindsay, OK). The Leopards go into the 2A-I District 2 test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Lindsay triumphed over Lexington (Lexington, OK), 15-0, in a league test.
