The St. Andrew's Cardinals football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Early College Hornets to 20 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Tatnall for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. St. Andrew's will face a Hornets team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Howard (Wilmington, DE). The Hornets record now stands at 0-6.
The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their test against First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE). The Bulldogs come into the 1A District 3 test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, First State Military Academy was defeated by Seaford (Seaford, DE), 46-7, in a league test.
