Kentucky High School Football - East Ridge toppled by Pike County Central

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) and the visiting East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY), witnessed Pike County Central's football squad knock off East Ridge by a tally of 47-28.
The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Magoffin County was toppled by Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY), 71-28, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) in a 2A District 8 contest, on Friday, October 17. East Ridge will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 46-25 league win over Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY).
