The Marshfield Tigers football team scored 43 points and restricted the host Eau Claire North Huskies to 35 in the Tigers league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Stevens Point Panthers (Stevens Point, WI) in a Wisconsin Valley challenge, on Friday, October 17. Marshfield will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 28-13 league loss to D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI).
The Huskies (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI). The Red Raiders come into the Wisconsin Valley test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln was defeated by New Richmond (New Richmond, WI), 49-14, in a non-league test.
