New York High School Football - Fordham Prep thwarted by St. Peter's

St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad thwart the host Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY), 42-21 in a league match.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Cardinal Hayes was beaten by St. Anthony's (Melville, NY), 42-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY) in a Catholic AA I battle, on Sunday, October 19. Fordham Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 32-6 league win over Holy Cross (Flushing, NY).
