Arkansas High School Football - Foreman can't hold off Mineral Springs

Mineral Springs Hornets (Mineral Springs, AR) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Foreman Gator Arkansas (Foreman, AR), 6-0 in a league match.

The Hornets (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Go-Devils come into the 2A Region 3 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Gurdon was nudged by Junction City (Junction City, AR), 43-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Gator Arkansas meet the Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) in a 2A Region 3 battle, on Friday, October 17. Foreman will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 58-34 league win over Lafayette County (Stamps, AR).
