Ohio High School Football - Marietta crushed by Fort Frye

Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH), 35-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Fort Frye advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cadets host Warren (Vincent, OH) to play the Warriors in a Twin State battle on Friday, October 17. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 2-6. Warren won 35-24 in their recent league match against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a Coalfield AA match, on Friday, October 17. Marietta will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Big Blacks come into the match with a 0-6 record after their 35-24 league loss to Warren (Vincent, OH).
