The Franklin Parish Patriots felled the host West Ouachita Chiefs football team by a score of 55-28 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Franklin Parish will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Warhorses come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 54-41 league win over Grant (Dry Prong, LA).
With the defeat, West Ouachita drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Tioga (Tioga, LA) to meet the Indians in a 4A District 2 test on Friday, October 17. The Indians come into the test with a record of 6-1. Tioga won 59-36 in their recent league test against Wossman (Monroe, LA)
