Arizona High School Football - Glendale Prep Academy tops Highland Prep West

October 10, 2025: Avondale, AZ 85323

The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins football squad scored 68 points and limited the host Highland Prep West HORNETS to 48 in the Griffins league triumph on Friday.

The Griffins now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage Academy for a 2A Metro 5 test on Friday, October 17. Glendale Prep Academy will meet a Heroes team coming off a 40-0 league loss to Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Heroes record now stands at 4-4.

The HORNETS (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA). The Warriors go into the 2A Metro 5 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, San Pasqual Valley lost by Antelope (Wellton, AZ), 45-20, in a league challenge.
