The John Glenn Knights football squad scored 23 points and held the host Hampton Bays Baymen to 0 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Knights face the Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats (Shoreham, NY) in a Section 11 Division IV challenge, on Saturday, October 18. John Glenn will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 38-14 league loss to Miller Place (Miller Place, NY).

With the defeat, Hampton Bays drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Baymen host Center Moriches (Center Moriches, NY) to clash with the Red Devils in a Section 11 Division IV test on Friday, October 17. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 1-4. Center Moriches lost 45-9 in their recent league game against Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY)
