Ohio High School Football - Hawken smashes Orange

The Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) football trounced the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), 49-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harvey for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin outing on Friday, October 17. Hawken will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 49-13 league loss to Perry (Perry, OH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-4.

The Lions (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH). The Longhorns enter the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Lutheran West was trounced by West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 42-13, in a league game.
