In Friday's league battle, the host Hazel Park Vikings football team scored a big 42-6 win over the Lincoln Abes.

With the win, Hazel Park advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to St. Clair (St. Clair, MI) to play the Saints in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Saints go into the battle with a record of 4-3. St. Clair won 51-2 in their recent non-league battle against Sterling Heights (Sterling Heights, MI)

The Abes now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Center Line for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. Lincoln will play a Panthers team coming off a 41-24 league win over South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
