Nebraska High School Football - High Plains overwhelmed by Lawrence-Nelson

In Friday's league game, the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders (Nelson, NE) football squad trounced the visiting High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), by a margin of 73-8.

The Raiders now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Giltner for a D2 District 4 (8 Man) outing on Thursday, October 16. Lawrence-Nelson will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, High Plains drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Storm host Deshler (Deshler, NE) to clash with the Dragons in a D2 District 4 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 17. The Dragons come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Deshler won 1-0 in their recent league outing against Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE)
