Alabama High School Football - Monroe County falls to Hillcrest

The Hillcrest Jaguars felled the visiting Monroe County Tigers football squad by a count of 28-18 in Friday's league test.
The Jaguars now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flomaton for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Friday, October 17. Hillcrest will face a Hurricanes team coming off a 40-8 league win over Monroe County (Monroeville, AL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Monroe County drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Mobile, AL) to meet the Warriors in a 3A Region 1 test on Friday, October 17. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 6-1. Cottage Hill Christian Academy lost 25-7 in their recent league test against Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL)
