North Carolina High School Football - Hoggard wallops Topsail

October 10, 2025: Hampstead, NC 28443

The Hoggard Vikings football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Topsail Pirates to 12 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Laney for a Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A test on Friday, October 17. Hoggard will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 27-9 league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-3.

The Pirates (0-8) will now prepare for their game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, West Brunswick was ripped by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 28-14, in a league game.
