The Humboldt Wildcats overcame the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen football team by a tally of 21-7 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) in a 3A District 1 game, on Friday, October 17. Humboldt will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 28-6 league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA).
The Dutchmen (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Warriors enter the 3A District 1 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Sioux Center achieved victory over Algona (Algona, IA), 21-19, in a league outing.
