In their next game, the Wolves face the West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) in a A District 8 test, on Friday, October 17. IKM/Manning will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 40-0 non-league win over Southwest Valley (Corning, IA).

With the defeat, Westwood drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 1-6. South O'Brien lost 42-7 in their recent league test against Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA)
