Pe Ell/Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA), 21-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Pe Ell/Willapa Valley improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The travel to Forks (Forks, WA) to meet the Spartans in a 2B Central - North match on Friday, October 17. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 0-6. Forks lost 49-13 in their recent league match against Adna (Adna, WA)

Coming up next, the Fishermen meet the Napavine Tigers (Napavine, WA) in a 2B Central - North challenge, on Friday, October 17. Ilwaco will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 49-16 league win over Raymond/South Bend (Raymond, WA).
