The Westside Renegades football team (Clear Fork, WV), was crushed 49-6 in Friday's league bout with the host Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)
With the win, Independence advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Barnesville (Barnesville, OH) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Shamrocks go into the battle with a record of 7-1. Barnesville won 34-7 in their recent league battle against The Linsly School (Wheeling, WV)
The Renegades now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Summers County for a Coalfield AA battle on Friday, October 17. Westside will play a Bobcats team coming off a 16-14 non-league loss to Mount View (Welch, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-6.
