Mott Haven Mavericks (Bronx, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Information Tech (Long Island City, NY), 22-0 in a league test.

The Mavericks now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Martin for a PSAL 1A test on Friday, October 17. Mott Haven will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 20-6 league loss to A-Tech (Brooklyn, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Information Tech drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The host Douglass Academy (New York, NY) to meet the Lions in a PSAL 1A challenge on Sunday, October 19. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Douglass Academy lost 34-0 in their recent league challenge against Petrides (Staten Island, NY)
