Michigan High School Football - Nouvel Catholic Central can't hold off Ithaca

October 10, 2025: Saginaw, MI 48603

Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team nudge the host Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI), 37-30 in a league match.

The Yellowjackets (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Fowler (Fowler, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Fowler was nudged by Pewamo-Westphalia (Pewamo, MI), 37-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. Nouvel Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Irish come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 52-0 non-league win over Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI).
