The West Carter Comets walloped the host Jackson County Generals football team by a score of 51-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets face the Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY) in a 2A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 17. West Carter will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 47-0 league win over Morgan County (West Liberty, KY).
