West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), 33-0 in a league match.
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Shepherd (Shepherd, TX). The Pirates come into the 4A-2 Region III District 9 match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Shepherd routed Tarkington (Cleveland, TX), 48-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (Hamshire, TX) in a 4A-2 Region III District 9 match, on Friday, October 17. Jasper will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 41-20 league loss to Silsbee (Silsbee, TX).
