The Sweet Grass County Sheepherders football team (Big Timber, MT), was crushed 42-6 in Friday's league bout with the host Jefferson Panthers (Boulder, MT)

With the win, Jefferson advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Panthers host Manhattan (Manhattan, MT) to encounter the Tigers in a B - South bout on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Manhattan won 21-15 in their recent league bout against Broadwater (Townsend, MT)

The Sheepherders now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Columbus for a B - South bout on Friday, October 17. Sweet Grass County will play a Cougars team coming off a 50-7 league loss to Three Forks (Three Forks, MT). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
