Washington High School Football - Mt. Rainier can't hold off Kentwood

Kentwood Conquerors (Covington, WA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Mt. Rainier Rams (Des Moines, WA), 14-10 in a league match.

The Conquerors (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Auburn (Auburn, WA). The Trojans come into the 4A North Puget Sound match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Auburn was nudged by Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA), 50-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Rams confront the Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound match, on Thursday, October 16. Mt. Rainier will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 50-14 league win over Auburn (Auburn, WA).
