The Winner Warriors overwhelmed the visiting Lakota Tech Tatanka football squad by a margin of 64-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chamberlain for a Southeastern South Dakota test on Friday, October 17. Winner will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 20-8 league loss to Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central (Woonsocket, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 4-4.
The Tatanka (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Broncs enter the Black Hills challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Belle Fourche bounced Custer (Custer, SD), 18-14, in a league challenge.
