The Napoleon Pirates football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Leslie Blackhawks to 26 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Michigan Center for a Cascades - East test on Friday, October 17. Napoleon will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 46-12 league win over Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-0.
With the defeat, Leslie drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Millington (Millington, MI) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 6-1. Millington won 14-3 in their recent league test against Laker (Pigeon, MI)
