Pennsylvania High School Football - Shamokin Area wallops Lewisburg

The Shamokin Area Indians football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Lewisburg Green Dragons to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Loyalsock Township for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 17. Shamokin Area will face a Lancers team coming off a 34-20 league win over Danville (Danville, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-3.

The Green Dragons (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Warriors enter the Heartland II challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Montoursville was ripped by Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA), 26-16, in a league challenge.
