Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad crush the host Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA), 48-7 in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Cedar Falls Tigers (Cedar Falls, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Linn-Mar will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 20-17 league win over Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA).

The Muskies (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Davenport Central (Davenport, IA). The Blue Devils go into the 5A Group 6 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Davenport Central was ripped by Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA), 63-7, in a league challenge.
