The Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC) football knocked off the host Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC), 26-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Blazers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Florence for a AAAAA Region 5 game on Friday, October 17. Ridge View will battle a Knights team coming off a 21-7 league win over Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.

The Demons (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Redhawks enter the AAAAA Region 5 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Westwood notched a victory over Spring Valley (Columbia, SC), 31-0, in a league game.
