Lyle/Wishram/Klickitat/Glenwood (Lyle, WA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Pilot Rock Rockets (Pilot Rock, OR), 2-0 in a non-league match.

The (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Echo (Echo, OR). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Echo was tipped by Dufur (Dufur, OR), 30-6, in a league battle.

The Rockets now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Dufur for a 1A Special District 3 (8 Man) battle on Thursday, October 16. Pilot Rock will play a Rangers team coming off a 30-6 league win over Echo (Echo, OR). The Rangers record now stands at 6-0.
