The Vikings go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 68-0 non-league loss to Andale (Andale, KS).

With the defeat, Lyons drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, October 17. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-3. Hillsboro lost 52-16 in their recent league test against Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS)
