The New Hope Indians football squad (New Hope, AL), was outscored 33-10 in Friday's league contest with the host Madison Academy Mustangs (Madison, AL)

The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons enter the 4A Region 8 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, St. John Paul II overcame Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL), 44-13, in a league bout.

The Indians now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Plainview for a 4A Region 8 test on Friday, October 17. New Hope will meet a Bears squad coming off a 35-24 league win over North Jackson (Stevenson, AL). The Bears record now stands at 7-0.
