Nevada High School Football - Mineral County trounces McDermitt

October 10, 2025: McDermitt, NV 89421

Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV), 64-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Mineral County improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Serpents host Carlin (Carlin, NV) to play the Railroaders in a 1A Northern (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 17. The Railroaders go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Carlin won 44-22 in their recent league battle against Wells (Wells, NV)

The Bulldogs now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Virginia City for a 1A Northern (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 18. McDermitt will play a Muckers team coming off a 52-0 league win over Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 3-4.
