The Mendez Jaguars felled the visiting Reseda Regents football team by a score of 39-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars play the Belmont Sentinels (Los Angeles, CA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Mendez will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Sentinels go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 48-0 league loss to Roybal (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, Reseda drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Regents host Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA) to meet the Wolves in a Valley Mission test on Friday, October 17. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 7-1. Van Nuys won 36-14 in their recent league test against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA)
