The Sayre Eagles football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Merritt Oilers to 6 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Watonga Eagles (Watonga, OK) in a A-I District 1 challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Sayre will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 27-14 league win over Hinton (Hinton, OK).
