Maine High School Football - Mt. Blue falls to Messalonskee

October 10, 2025: Farmington, ME 04938

The Messalonskee Eagles felled the host Mt. Blue Cougars football team by a score of 26-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 17. Messalonskee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 32-0 league win over Gardiner (Gardiner, ME).

With the defeat, Mt. Blue drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to face the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 17. The Ramblers go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Winthrop won 21-6 in their recent league challenge against Poland (Poland, ME)
