Texas High School Football - Palmview sneaks past Mission

The Palmview Lobos football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Mission Eagles to 23 in the Lobos league triumph on Friday.

The Lobos now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to McAllen for a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge on Friday, October 17. Palmview will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-21 league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.

The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Rattlers go into the 5A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Rio Grande City was edged by Rowe (McAllen, TX), 49-21, in a league challenge.
