Pennsylvania High School Football - Tunkhannock nips Montrose

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) and the visiting Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), saw Tunkhannock's football squad edge Montrose by a count of 15-10.

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Towanda (Towanda, PA). The Black Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Towanda got by Sayre (Sayre, PA), 42-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Meteors confront the Renaissance Academy Knights (Phoenixville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 18. Montrose will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 40-6 non-league loss to York County Tech (York, PA).
