Florida High School Football - Moore Haven defeats Somerset Academy South Homestead

October 10, 2025: Moore Haven, FL 33471

In Friday's non-league match, the host Moore Haven Terriers football team scored a nice 28-0 win over the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes.

With the win, Moore Haven advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Terriers travel to Trenton (Trenton, FL) to play the Tigers in a Rural battle on Friday, October 24. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-2.

The Hurricanes now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a non-league match on Thursday, October 16. Somerset Academy South Homestead will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Coral Shores (Tavernier, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
