The Penn Hills Indians edged the host Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils football team by a score of 19-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians face the North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAA Northeast challenge, on Friday, October 17. Penn Hills will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 17-14 league loss to Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).
The Blue Devils (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans enter the WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Hempfield Area was edged by Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA), 47-8, in a league challenge.
