The Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs felled the visiting Oakley Plainsmen football team by a score of 52-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Monarchs face the Syracuse Bulldogs (Syracuse, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Thomas More Prep-Marian will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 69-18 non-league loss to Plainville (Plainville, KS).

The Plainsmen (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Redmen enter the Mid-Continent challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Smith Center ran past Ulysses (Ulysses, KS), 26-20, in a non-league challenge.
