Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons (Ida Grove, IA), 17-15 in a league battle.

With the win, Okoboji improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Kuemper (Carroll, IA) to play the Knights in a 2A Group 2 battle on Friday, October 17. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Kuemper won 48-6 in their recent league battle against Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA)

The Falcons now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Valley for a 2A Group 2 test on Friday, October 17. Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 56-27 league loss to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-3.
