    The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) and the visiting Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA), saw Palm Desert's football team prevail over Rancho Mirage by a final score of 31-7.

    With the win, Palm Desert advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Shadow Hills (Indio, CA) to encounter the Knights in a Desert Empire bout on Thursday, October 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Shadow Hills lost 41-21 in their recent league bout against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA)

    The Rattlers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host La Quinta for a Desert Empire bout on Friday, October 17. Rancho Mirage will confront a Blackhawks squad coming off a 28-14 league win over Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 5-2.
