The Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs overwhelmed the host Paxton Tigers football squad by a count of 54-13 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwest for a D6 District 4 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 17. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 55-12 league win over Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Paxton drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE) to face the Raiders in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 17. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Medicine Valley lost 70-33 in their recent league challenge against Wallace (Wallace, NE)
