Texas High School Football - Shallowater routs Pecos

The Shallowater Mustangs overwhelmed the visiting Pecos Eagles football squad by a margin of 59-7 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bushland for a 3A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 24. Shallowater will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 34-12 non-league win over Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Chiefs/Maidens enter the 4A-1 Region I District 3 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake View bounced Brownfield (Brownfield, TX), 58-26, in a non-league challenge.
